Personal Branding - Product Range

Product Range

Developing the full Product Range to be printed for the my Personal Branding. Pretty standard stationary that I might need along with a few additions...

Stock / Specials

Product range is made up of a mixture of GF Smith Colourplan - Bright White and Ebony Black stock, with Both Black and White ink and Spot Varnish, which will be applied with Vinyl. I'll also be using a brown paper stock for the Envelopes, Notepad and Poster Tube, so this will be another texture that works with the Black and White. I've just purchased a custom hand embosser, which looks like the one in the image above. This will be used to emboss most parts that make up the stationary.

Business Cards / Letterhead

I really like the idea of created this negative duplicate of my business cards in White and Black. I feel the simplicity works really well for my brand, and it also mixes it up a little bit giving out White and Black. The important documents such as letters and invoies will be printed on the Bright White Stock and also encased in the Brown Envelopes. Both will be embossed with the hand embosser...

Postcards Portfolio

I will be making a few of these Postcard Portfolio's which are proposed to be given out at the End of Year show, and possibly sent out to various studios. I won't be doing this yet as I've just accepted a job, but I think they are good to have anyway just in case. It's a nice little touch to go alongside my full Portfolio at the End of Year Show, so people can take a bit of my work away with them if they decide they like it.

Postcard Portfolio (Format)

The Format of the Postcard Portfolio will simple be a set of postcards that are bound together neatly using a metal acco fastener. These are really cheap, so it's good for printing on large qunatity and handing out, whilst still looking clean an professional. The postcards will be able to be taken out and pinned on a wall or used however the person feels nessacery. The postcards will be bound with a black stock front and back cover.

Postcard Portfolio (Inserts)

The inserts (or postcards) of the mini portfolio will simple be laid out like this. A small section of copy in the top left will briefly explain the projects, then there will be two images from that project which best showcase the work. Here's an example from the 'Adventure' brief iv'e recently completed.

Business Cards (Final Layout)

this is the final Layouts for my business cards. I will be doing some test with these to see what comes out best but I'm planning on applying Black and White Vinyl to Black and White stock to appear like a spot colour / varnish. I especially like the idea of black on black to make it appear as a spot varnish, then simply print black on black stock, which is then foiled with clear foil to give it a shine for the copy on the back.

Envelope (Format / Layout)

I will be using the brown paper stock for the envelopes which will be embossed on the front. I'm playing around with the idea of having a white label which will start on the front of the envelop, containing the brand-mark, then move around onto the back to reveal the details and address...

Notebooks

Likewise, the notebooks will be constructed from the same brown paper textured material, and be bound perfectly with black cloth. This will then be applied with vinyl and embossed...

Letterhead / Invoice / Comp Slips

The layout for the documents is consistent and clean. The brand-mark, as always, sits in the top left of the page and the details sit in the bottom right of the page. The middle section is alway right aligned which allowed a clear band of space to form down the left hand side of the page, where the logo sits at the head of the page. This blank section is them pretty interchangeable and versatile, but it must always be kept to a clean layout, which sits on the grid that it is has been constructed on....
